G-04-2024 EFI AC: Young Scientist Session on AI and Forests (re-launch)

Description

Presenting the AI concept, discussing how AI is used in current forest-related research and ongroundwork and discuss what the scientific and societal implications of AI might be in the forest context, at a session in the 2024 EFI Conference. The presented research shall address one or several of the following sub-topics on AI:
• how AI might impact the way our society perceives and understands forest-related
issues
• how different generative AI text-to-image models interpret complex forest-related
subject matter A maximum of 5 grants will be awarded.
